About the Artist
Michelle Marie Sawtell is a multi talented Boston Based Artist. Michelle is a Singer, Songwriter, Recording Artist, Music Producer, Fine Art Photography Artist & Personal Fashion Stylist. Music, photography and fashion have always been near and dear to her heart.
Michelle has been singing and performing since the age of 2 but it wasn't until 2015 that she decided to embark on her professional musical journey. Michelle captivates audiences with magnetizing high vibes of joy and inspiration. Her projects include Sound Goddess Healing, an Electronic, Experimental Pop, World Beat, Dub project and Michelle Marie Sawtell an Americana, Rock project.
Michelle's love for photography began at a very early age, The concept of looking through a lens of a camera to capture a moment in time was so enchanting. All through high school you could find Michelle working at a camera shop or walking around campus with her Pentax manual 35mm film camera. Michelle really enjoyed taking photography classes on composition, developing, and printing B&W film. There was something quite magical about seeing her images come to life in the darkroom. Michelle loves photographing landscapes, animals, food, live music, people and the list goes on.
Michelle's love of fashion began as a young child. There was nothing quite like a new outfit and a fresh pair of cool sneakers to brighten up her school day and that statement still holds true today.
Michelle has been a professional Boston based fashion stylist since 2018. She has worked for companies including Gap, Athleta, Loft and Marine Layer. Michelle has had the honor of styling musicians for shows, every day folks for events and photo sessions, friends, family and of course herself. Michelle just loves helping people find their own unique style. It's her honor to assist and empower through fashion.
